Irina Masnikosa was born in Našice in 1989. She graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb with a BA and an MA in Linguistics and Russian language and literature. She defended her MA thesis in 2014 (Moskovskij metropoliten v kino – Moscow Metro on Film) and her PhD thesis in 2019 (Analiza i procesiranje glagolske skupine u hrvatskome jeziku – ograničenja informacijske strukture; mentor: professor Anita Peti-Stantić, PhD, postgraduate doctoral program of linguistics at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb).
Research interests: language processing, ellipsis, syntax-semantics interface
